The role involves supporting financings, tax equity structures, and related transactional work for wind, solar, and other energy-transition projects.
Positions are open in Washington, D.C., Chicago, and San Francisco. Candidates must be a member of the state bar for the city where they will be based and should be comfortable working on fast-paced, deal-driven matters with cross-functional project teams.
- JD and membership in the relevant state bar (DC, Illinois, or California, as applicable)
- Approximately 6 months to 2 years of law firm experience with transactional tax work — experience on renewable energy tax equity financings, partnership tax, or tax-credit structuring preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills; organized and responsive on deal timelines
- Interest in energy transition and renewable project finance transactions
