The team handles structured energy transactions, project and commercial agreements, energy finance and commodities matters, and deals across power, renewables, natural gas and upstream energy sectors.
The position involves drafting and negotiating principal and ancillary documents, coordinating diligence and internal specialists, participating in client-facing calls, and supporting closings and post-closing matters. This role offers meaningful responsibility and direct partner interaction in a collaborative, multi-discipline practice.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Third- or fourth-year associate (Class of 2022 or 2023) with 3–4 years of transactional experience; energy/infrastructure experience preferred
- Strong drafting, issue-spotting, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters, drive workstreams, and mentor junior team members
- Admission to and good standing with the Texas bar
