Mid-level associate role on a national energy and infrastructure team, based in Washington, D.C., focused on project finance for renewable energy transactions. The role offers substantive responsibility on financings and opportunities for client contact across sponsor and financing-side matters.

Work will center on debt and tax equity financings for development, acquisition and operation of renewable energy projects, with exposure to project development and operation contracts. The team represents a broad set of industry participants and works on large-scale, market-facing transactions.

  • 3-5 years' project finance experience in the energy sector, with demonstrable debt and tax equity experience.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating debt documents (term sheets, loan agreements, security documents) and tax-equity/equity documents (partnership agreements, contribution agreements, leases, guarantees).
  • Familiarity with project agreements such as EPCs, supply agreements, offtake agreements, and O&M contracts.
  • Proven ability to manage transactions and junior team members; strong oral and written communication, research, and analytical skills.
  • Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school and admission in good standing to a U.S. state bar.
