Finance Associate, Restructuring (Houston)

Top-tier restructuring team is seeking a finance associate to join its Business Restructuring & Reorganization practice in Houston. The role focuses on financing-side work in distressed and special-situations matters.

Candidates will work on liability-management transactions, DIP and bankruptcy-exit financings, and other special-situations financings. Assignments include representing top-of-capital-structure creditors and financial institutions in both Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.

• Law school class years 2019 123 (JD 2019 123)
• Experience representing creditors or borrowers on liability-management transactions
• Experience with DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings and other special-situations financings
• Familiarity advising hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds or other financial institutions in Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings
