Apply in confidence →Top-tier US practice is seeking a mid‑ to senior‑level associate (approximately 5–7 years' experience) to join its Financial Services Regulatory Enforcement team. The role is open in New York, Seattle, or Washington, DC and focuses on representing financial institutions, fintech companies, and other regulated entities in government investigations and regulatory enforcement matters.
Work will involve responding to regulator inquiries and subpoenas, conducting internal investigations, drafting advocacy materials and regulatory submissions, and coordinating with cross‑practice teams on complex enforcement and compliance issues. The position offers significant responsibility on high‑stakes matters and regular interaction with experienced enforcement counsel and regulators.
- 5–7 years of experience in regulatory enforcement, investigations, or related litigation.
- Experience handling matters involving financial services regulators or government enforcement agencies; prior government experience is a plus.
- Law firm experience advising financial institutions, fintech platforms, or other regulated entities preferred.
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership (or eligibility).
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills; ability to manage components of complex matters and communicate practical regulatory advice to clients.
