National US law firm is seeking a Funds Associate to join its Financial Services & Capital Markets practice. This is a multi-office role open to candidates across the United States (remote/virtual options available); candidates in New Jersey, New York and California will not be considered at this time.

The role focuses on advising investment funds and their investors across the fund lifecycle, including formation, governance, fundraising and related securities matters. Experience with private equity, private credit and venture capital fund structures is preferred. The associate will collaborate with deal teams on transactional and regulatory aspects of fund work.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong academics, excellent interpersonal skills, good judgment, and the ability to manage multiple matters under pressure. Candidates must have (or be willing to obtain promptly) an active bar license for the office to which they apply.

3–5 years' post-qualification experience in fund formation, securities or corporate practice
Experience advising private equity, private credit and/or venture capital funds preferred
Solid corporate and securities transactional background (fund formation, governance, offering documents)
Active bar admission in the office jurisdiction or commitment to obtain one promptly
Strong academic credentials, client-facing skills and ability to work on multiple matters
