Mid-level associate position in a national health care practice, open to candidates for offices in Chicago, Minneapolis or Washington, DC. The role involves cross-office collaboration on transactional and regulatory health care matters for institutional and provider clients.

The team handles a mix of compliance, privacy/HIPAA, reimbursement and provider contracting work. This is a client-facing role that combines legal drafting, regulatory analysis, and participation in business development and industry events.

The firm supports hybrid working with an expectation of in-office collaboration three days per week.

2–4 years of post-qualification experience; law firm experience preferred
Strong grounding in health care transactional and regulatory matters, including HIPAA/state privacy laws, Stark Law, Anti‑Kickback Statute, and Medicare/Medicaid issues
Experience drafting and negotiating health care contracts (provider/vendor agreements, business associate agreements)
JD from an accredited law school and admission (or ability to promptly waive) to the Illinois, Minnesota or Washington, DC bar
Excellent research, drafting, organizational and client-facing skills
