Apply in confidence →Experienced health-care transactional attorney sought to join a national health law practice advising payors, providers, manufacturers and other participants in the pharmaceutical supply chain. The role supports work on contracting and operational matters related to pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), health plans and related vendors.
This is a multi-office role with openings in Boston, New York or Washington, DC. The position involves drafting and negotiating PBM- and vendor-related commercial agreements (rebate contracts, pharmacy network agreements, vendor services agreements), counseling on regulatory and operational issues, and supporting procurements and dispute resolution.
The team operates cross-disciplinarily; the role requires close collaboration with practice colleagues, occasional client travel, and an on-site presence in line with firm hybrid policies.
- J.D. (or LL.M.) from an accredited law school
- Admission or eligibility to be admitted in Massachusetts, New York, or Washington, D.C.
- Minimum of 3 years’ transactional experience in managed care, PBM, or pharmaceutical supply chain contracting
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts (e.g., rebate agreements, pharmacy network contracts, vendor services agreements)
- Strong written and oral communication, organization, and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple contracting workflows and interact with clients and opposing counsel
- Willingness to work on-site approximately 60% of the time and to travel to client sites as needed
