Join a leading global People & Reward/Incentives team advising on contentious and non‑contentious employment, executive remuneration and share plans for listed companies, financial institutions, private equity clients and multinationals. The London incentives group works closely with corporate, tax, regulatory and disputes colleagues on high‑value, multi‑jurisdictional matters.

The role focuses on designing, implementing and operating equity and cash‑based incentive arrangements, executive compensation structures, and related tax, governance and securities issues. You will draft plan documentation and participant communications, support M&A, restructuring and capital markets work, and advise on malus/clawback and management equity arrangements.

There are opportunities to lead client work, mentor junior lawyers, contribute to business development and thought leadership, and collaborate across teams on strategic, reputationally significant matters.

  • Qualified lawyer with approximately 2–6 years' PQE in incentives, executive compensation or employee share plans.
  • Strong technical grounding across tax, corporate, securities and employment law as they relate to incentive arrangements.
  • Experience advising on incentive aspects of M&A, restructurings or capital markets transactions.
  • Comfort drafting precise plan documentation and participant materials, and negotiating incentive arrangements.
  • Team‑oriented with business development interest and ability to manage matters and mentor junior colleagues.
