Apply in confidence →

We are seeking an Innovation Attorney to join a leading international law firm’s technology-focused team. This transactional-facing role advises lawyers and matter teams on applying innovative legal technologies — including generative AI, data & analytics, and productivity/legal tech platforms — to improve efficiency, insight, and client value.

The role acts as a conduit between practicing attorneys, clients, and the firm’s Technology organization: designing and configuring workflows and templates, piloting and scaling successful solutions across practice groups, and supporting client collaborations on AI-enabled projects while addressing security and ethical considerations.

The position works across practice leadership, technology, training, business development and risk teams to drive adoption, evaluate and implement legal tech solutions, and provide updates on industry trends. Occasional alignment with global hours and cross-office collaboration will be required.

  • JD and admission to the relevant state bar.
  • Minimum ~2 years' post-qualification experience as a practicing lawyer or in a legal operations role with transactional experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with legal technology and artificial intelligence; experience evaluating and implementing legal tech solutions in a large firm or enterprise environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with transactional matter lifecycles and experience in business analysis, solution design, or client-facing consulting roles.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in plain language; collaborative, pragmatic, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfort engaging directly with practitioners to design and deploy practical tech-enabled workflows.
