Our client's Cyber/Data/Privacy practice group is seeking an associate to join its growing team. The practice spans the US, Europe, and Asia, with over 30 attorneys focused full time on privacy and data security matters, and it continues to expand its US presence.

The group advises a broad range of clients, including emerging and public companies, leading technology companies, financial institutions, life sciences companies, national media companies, and others. The work includes a counseling and advisory component, as well as privacy and cybersecurity aspects of corporate and technology transactions, incident preparedness and response, state and federal investigations, and litigation.

The role is open across multiple offices, offering flexibility to join a leading and expanding international practice.

Four to seven years of experience advising clients on cyber, data, and privacy compliance issues, gained at a law firm or in-house.
Familiarity with CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, and other privacy law compliance.
Experience with information security and privacy due diligence for corporate transactions.
Experience drafting data processing agreements and privacy schedules in commercial transactions.
Experience with data breach response and incident response planning.
High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
Ability to engage directly with clients and lead significant projects.
Strong analytical and writing skills.
