Growing insurance coverage practice seeks a partnership-track associate to join litigation-focused teams across several U.S. offices. You will handle coverage disputes for policyholders and insurers, draft and respond to dispositive motions and briefs, conduct discovery, and work directly with colleagues and clients on complex matters.

Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of insurance coverage and litigation experience, strong analytical and writing skills, and familiarity with first- and third-party policy interpretation. The role is open to applicants for Boston, Miami, Richmond, Washington, D.C. or New York; bar admission in the hiring jurisdiction is preferred and must be obtained within one year of joining.

3–5 years of insurance coverage experience (policyholder or insurer side) with litigation exposure
Strong legal research, analytical and drafting skills
Familiarity with first- and third-party policies and insurance policy interpretation
Comfort working directly with clients and taking initiative on matters
Strong academic record and willingness to handle pro bono matters
Bar admission in the hiring jurisdiction preferred; required within one year of hire
