Top-tier national law firm is seeking a partnership-track Insurance Coverage associate to join a busy insurance practice. The role is open across multiple U.S. offices (Boston, Miami, Richmond, Washington, D.C., or New York) and will involve handling coverage matters for policyholders and insurers, with a mix of litigation and counseling work.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and writing skills, experience interpreting first- and third-party policies, and comfort working directly with clients and colleagues. The position expects initiative, leadership potential, and a commitment to client service and pro bono work. Candidates should be licensed in—or able to obtain admission to—the hiring office jurisdiction within one year.

3–5 years of insurance coverage experience (policyholder or insurer-side) with litigation experience
Familiarity with first- and third-party policies and insurance policy interpretation
Excellent legal writing, analytical skills, and client-facing experience
Demonstrated initiative and leadership potential; willingness to handle pro bono matters
Licensed in the office jurisdiction preferred; must be admitted within one year if not already licensed
