Intellectual Property Partner — Ann Arbor

Seeking a lateral partner to lead and grow an intellectual property practice from the Ann Arbor office of a well-established national firm. The role blends client development, matter leadership and hands-on IP work across prosecution, counseling and litigation depending on experience.

The successful candidate will join an experienced team and will be expected to originate and nurture client relationships, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to firm strategy in the IP area. This is an opportunity to build a visible, portable practice within a collaborative platform.

• Established partner-level IP lawyer with a demonstrable track record in client origination and matter leadership
• Experience in core IP matters (prosecution, counseling and/or litigation) appropriate to senior level
• Proven ability to develop business and grow a portable practice; comfortable mentoring and managing teams
• Strong communication skills and a client-service orientation
