Apply in confidence →Short-term employment role placed via a flexible resourcing team within a leading international law firm. You will act as the day-to-day employment lawyer on an external assignment for a major financial‑services client, providing advisory support across employee relations, tribunal matters and employment risk.
The assignment is due to start ASAP for six months. Full‑time is preferred (with c.3 days in the office) but part‑time arrangements (four days/week, two days in the office) will be considered. Candidates based in London, Manchester or Glasgow are invited to apply.
While on assignment you will have access to the firm’s know‑how and resourcing support and will be supported by a sponsoring senior lawyer. Note that applicants must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Qualified lawyer with employment experience in private practice or in‑house.
- Strong general employment advisory skills and proven experience handling employment claims and tribunal work.
- Comfortable advising on employee relations and assessing employment risk for senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, meet tight deadlines and prioritise competing tasks.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills; problem‑solver mindset.
- Right to work in the UK required (no visa sponsorship).
