Apply in confidence →An award-winning national law firm is seeking a talented Solicitor (approximately 2–6 years' PQE) to join its International Serious Injury team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-value personal injury claims within a leading, specialist practice. The role offers excellent opportunities for career progression and development within a growing team, making it ideal for someone looking to further specialise in International Serious Injury work.
You will work with a Senior Associate in the International Serious Injury team, and your role will involve but is not limited to:
- Taking instructions from clients and providing clear, practical legal advice
- Managing and progressing high-value, complex international injury claims
- Running your own caseload of matters
- Working collaboratively on group actions and multi-claimant cases
- Meeting time recording and fee income targets
- Attending and contributing to team and practice area meetings
- Keeping up to date with developments in relevant law and practice
The role operates on a hybrid basis with a minimum of two office days per week, including at least one day in the Manchester office.
We anticipate the successful candidate will have around 2–6 years' PQE, although we would welcome applications from candidates outside this range who can demonstrate the required skills and experience.
- Strong experience in Serious Injury work
- A proven track record in multi-track Serious Injury work either from a Claimant or Defendant perspective
- Experience in travel litigation/cross border claims is highly desirable but not essential, as training and supervision will be provided
- Experience in handling complex and/or high-value claims
- Excellent client care skills, with empathy and a compassionate approach
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented mindset
- Strong organisational skills and commercial awareness
