Apply in confidence →Mid-level associate opportunity in a national law firm’s International Trade team, based in Southern California. The role supports a full-scope international trade practice advising on export controls, sanctions, foreign investment reviews, customs, and trade remedies.
Work is available across multiple Southern California offices; preference for candidates based in or willing to relocate to Orange County or Los Angeles-area offices. The team represents clients on compliance, enforcement, and transactional matters that intersect with U.S. trade regulations.
- 5–7 years’ experience in international trade law (large law firm or relevant government agency experience preferred)
- Experience in three or more of: export controls (EAR/ITAR), CFIUS/foreign investment reviews, economic sanctions, customs law, international trade agreements, and AD/CVD
- Member in good standing of the California bar
- Excellent written and verbal communication, strong research and analytical skills, and strong academic credentials
- Resume, cover letter, and law school transcript required
