Leading national public finance practice is seeking a 3–4 year associate to join its Sacramento or Los Angeles offices. The team acts as bond and disclosure counsel on a wide range of municipal and tax-exempt financings for governmental entities, non‑profits, borrowers and underwriters.

Work will cover the full spectrum of public finance matters including municipal bonds, notes and other obligations (tax‑exempt and taxable), financings for public infrastructure and social‑service projects, public‑private partnerships, securitizations and related workouts. The group provides formal training and on‑the‑job mentorship for associates.

The role suits a motivated transactional attorney with strong writing, communication and client service skills who wants to build deep experience in public finance within a high‑volume practice.

3–4 years of relevant law firm experience in public finance or related transactional work
Member in good standing of a U.S. state bar and able to meet any jurisdictional requirements of the hiring office
Strong transactional drafting and analytical skills; excellent written and oral communication
Client service orientation and ability to work in a fast‑paced, team environment
