Growing Investment Funds team in the Charlotte office seeks an associate with strong fund-formation and investment-management experience. The team advises on a broad range of private funds, including private equity, hedge, venture capital, real estate and other alternative investment structures.

The role involves substantive transactional work, direct client engagement and opportunities to contribute to business development efforts. The team is multidisciplinary and supports complex fund formations, regulatory considerations and ongoing fund operations.

4-6 years' experience in investment management and fund formation
Experience with private funds such as private equity, hedge funds, venture capital and real estate funds
Strong transactional drafting and negotiation skills; client-facing experience
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to support business development
