Growing investment funds team in Los Angeles seeks an associate with strong investment management and fund-formation experience. The group works across private equity, hedge funds, private credit, real estate and other alternative strategies, with occasional matters involving retail alternative structures.

The role offers meaningful client contact and opportunities to support business development in a strategically important practice area. Candidates should be entrepreneurial, collaborative, and comfortable working on complex fund formations and related regulatory and transactional matters.

4-8 years' relevant experience in investment management and fund formation
Experience with private equity, hedge funds, private credit, real estate funds or similar alternative investment vehicles
Transaction-focused drafting and negotiation skills (fund documents, side letters, management arrangements)
Strong interpersonal skills, client-facing experience, and business-development aptitude
Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or equivalent authorization to practice
