We are seeking a mid‑level to senior associate to join a large investment funds practice in New York. The role focuses on private fund formation and structuring across private equity and hedge fund strategies, working on complex transactions for sophisticated sponsors and institutional investors.

The team handles a broad range of matters including co‑investments, secondary transactions and GP‑led liquidity solutions (including continuation funds). The position requires strong drafting and negotiation skills, commercial judgment and the ability to manage deal work directly with clients.

4–7 years of private funds experience (private equity and/or hedge funds)
Experience with fund formation and structuring, co‑investments, secondaries and GP‑led transactions (including continuation funds)
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills and sound commercial judgment
Ability to manage complex transactions and interact directly with sophisticated sponsors and institutional investors
J.D. (or equivalent) and admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction, or eligibility to become admitted
