The role is open to candidates based in Denver or Washington, D.C., and offers the chance to work with a collaborative, specialist team on a broad mix of investment-management matters. - 3–6 years post-qualification experience, preferably with prior work at a major law firm.
- Experience advising registered investment advisers and investment companies, including alternative funds and SEC-registered products.
- Familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act, registration/exemption issues, compliance programs, governance and product structuring; prior SEC Division of Investment Management experience valued.
- Proven drafting skills for corporate governance and regulatory documents; strong legal writing and analytical ability.
- Admission to a relevant state bar or eligibility to waive in; ability to be based in Denver or Washington, D.C.
