Apply in confidence →Top-tier national law firm is seeking an Investment Management Associate to join its Investment Management practice across multiple U.S. offices (candidates must state preferred office in their application). This role focuses on advising registered investment companies and investment advisers on compliance and transactional matters under the Investment Company Act, the Investment Advisers Act, the Securities Act and the Exchange Act.
Typical duties include preparing and reviewing registration statements and offering documents, drafting board materials and investment management agreements, and counseling clients on regulatory and compliance issues. The firm offers a collaborative team environment with a hybrid in-office policy (approximately three days per week) and a competitive compensation and benefits package.
- 3–8 years of substantive investment management and securities experience (Investment Company Act, Advisers Act, Securities Act, Exchange Act)
- Direct experience representing registered investment companies and investment advisers (registration statements, offering documents, board materials, management agreements)
- Excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
- Outstanding academic credentials and professional references; ability to work collaboratively in a client-focused team
