Apply in confidence →National IP litigation team seeks an associate with 3–6 years’ patent litigation experience to join its Intellectual Property practice. The role is open across multiple U.S. offices with a preference for candidates based in Washington, D.C., San Diego (Del Mar), San Francisco, or Silicon Valley.
Work will include federal district court patent litigation, coordination of parallel ITC (Section 337) matters and PTAB proceedings, drafting dispositive and discovery motions, working with technical experts, and preparing for trial. The team handles complex technology disputes across telecom, multimedia, and related sectors.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- 3–6 years of patent litigation experience (district court matters preferred)
- Experience with ITC (Section 337) investigations and PTAB proceedings (IPRs)
- Familiarity or interest in SEPs/FRAND and telecommunications/multimedia standards
- Strong legal writing, analytic skills, and experience working with technical experts
- Admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
