Apply in confidence →Seeking an associate to join a national firm's Intellectual Property Litigation group. This role is open across multiple U.S. offices and welcomes candidates from junior through senior associate levels who are interested in complex life‑sciences patent litigation.
The position involves technical and legal analysis of patents and prior art, collaborating with scientific experts and clients, preparing litigation strategy and case materials, drafting briefs and discovery, and participating in district‑court and PTAB proceedings.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s)
- Ph.D. in Chemistry (required) with familiarity in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemical engineering, materials science, or related disciplines
- Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills; ability to explain complex scientific concepts
- Prior patent litigation experience preferred but not required; USPTO registration preferred
- Applicants should be prepared to provide law school, graduate and undergraduate transcripts, and a writing sample
