IP Litigation Senior Associate — Washington

Senior associate opportunity to join a large, international firm’s Intellectual Property litigation team in Washington, D.C. The role focuses on patent litigation across federal courts and administrative forums, supporting trial-ready matters involving technology clients and government-facing issues.

You will work on all stages of contentious IP matters — fact and expert discovery, motion practice, claim construction, and trial preparation — collaborating with partners and cross-office teams. The team offers exposure to complex, high-stakes disputes and structured support for professional development.

• Juris Doctor and active bar admission (or ability to obtain) in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction.
• Prior experience on patent litigation matters (federal court and/or PTAB/administrative proceedings).
• Demonstrated strengths in legal writing, motion drafting, and fact/expert discovery management.
• Comfort working on technical matters and coordinating with technical experts and interdisciplinary teams.
