Leading international law firm seeks an experienced Intellectual Property partner to strengthen its Stuttgart practice with a focus on patent litigation. The role is client-facing and will lead contentious patent matters, including proceedings before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).

The firm currently has strength in trademark and copyright work and is looking to add a partner with deep hard‑IP litigation expertise to complement the team. This is a high‑visibility role with opportunities to develop regional patent litigation capability and mentor junior lawyers.

The appointment is for a partner capable of bringing and developing a portable practice and who can collaborate across German and international desks.

Qualified to practice in Germany (admission or equivalent)
Proven track record in patent litigation; UPC experience preferred
Experience with cross‑border IP disputes and coordinating with international teams
Client development skills and a portable book of business suitable for a partner role
Strong leadership, mentoring ability and fluency in German
