Apply in confidence →Mid-to-senior associate role within a global firm’s Intellectual Property practice, based in Dallas. The position is litigation-focused and will support high‑value patent disputes while also handling patent prosecution and transactional patent matters.
The team acts for multinational clients across consumer, life sciences, technology and other sectors and works regularly on cross‑border matters using coordinated international teams. The role requires an engineer‑trained lawyer who can manage complex technical issues and contribute to both contentious and non‑contentious IP work.
This is a bonus‑eligible position with standard employee benefits. Applicants must be able to accept a Texas‑based practice (Texas Bar admission or demonstrable ability to waive in required).
- Juris Doctor (or equivalent) and active state bar admission — Texas admission preferred or ability to waive in
- Technical degree/engineering background required
- Meaningful experience in patent litigation; exposure to patent prosecution and patent transactions desirable
- Experience with related IP disputes (trademark, copyright, trade secret), licensing or commercial IP matters preferred
- Strong drafting, litigation advocacy and teamwork skills; ability to work on cross‑border teams
