Exciting opportunity for an Associate to join a specialist IP disputes team in London focused on patent litigation, with a particular emphasis on pharmaceutical and biotech matters.

The role involves handling high-value, international litigation and portfolio-management work across UK courts and the Unified Patent Court, acting on contentious patent, design and related IP disputes for clients in life sciences and other technology sectors.

You'll join a multi-disciplinary disputes group and take responsibility for driving cases from initial instructions through to trial, with structured career development and technical training provided.

Experience of UK patent litigation (life sciences/pharma experience strongly preferred)
Scientific background desirable (e.g. biochemistry, biology, chemistry, immunology) or equivalent technical understanding
Demonstrable experience managing patent disputes from instructions to trial and supervising junior team members
Comfortable working on cross-border, high-value litigation and with specialist court forums (e.g. UPC, High Court)
