Apply in confidence →Seeking an attorney with patent prosecution experience to join an IP prosecution group focused on improving knowledge resources, workflows, and adoption of AI-enabled tools. The role partners with prosecution attorneys, practice leadership, and innovation/technology teams to evaluate tools, develop practical prompts and playbooks, and drive adoption across the practice.
Day-to-day responsibilities include curating and maintaining model documents and playbooks, piloting and testing AI and other prosecution technologies, designing and delivering trainings and onboarding materials, and identifying process improvements to increase consistency and efficiency.
- J.D.; admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 3–5 years of patent prosecution experience in a law firm or comparable setting
- Demonstrated interest in and experience with legal technology and AI-enabled tools applied to patent drafting and prosecution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate legal/technical concepts into practical guidance
- Collaborative approach; able to work with attorneys, technologists, and vendors
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects
- Tech-savvy; familiarity with Microsoft 365 and core legal systems preferred
