The role is supervised by attorneys and involves hands-on drafting and prosecution work as well as assisting on litigation and opinion assignments.
This position is open across multiple U.S. offices; candidates should be prepared to work with inventors, coordinate with foreign counsel and conduct technical and patent research. Applicants may be asked to provide law school, undergraduate and graduate transcripts as part of the process.
- Degree in a relevant technical or engineering discipline (computer science, electrical engineering or similar)
- Experience with patent prosecution and/or patent litigation support in the tech/semiconductor space
- Strong drafting, technical research and patent-office response skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and inventors and to prepare opinions and foreign filing instructions
