Top-tier international law firm is seeking a junior-level associate to join its Global Employment & Labor practice in the US. The role supports multinational clients on US and cross-border employment and labor matters, including counseling on workforce deployment, international employment issues and employment aspects of transactions and restructurings.

The position is open to candidates based in Chicago, San Francisco, or Palo Alto. The team works on cross-border, multi-disciplinary matters and requires close collaboration with colleagues across jurisdictions.

Applications should include a resume, cover letter, writing sample and academic transcripts. Recent graduates who will be sitting for the bar exam are welcome to apply.

  • 0–2 years post-qualification experience in employment/labor law (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Some employment counseling and transactional exposure; interest or experience in international/cross-border employment issues
  • Admission and good standing (or eligibility to sit for the bar) in the relevant US state
  • Strong academic record, excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
