Leading international competition team in London is hiring a junior to mid-level associate to join its contentious competition practice. The role focuses on private enforcement and competition litigation, including damages claims in the High Court and the Competition Appeal Tribunal and multi‑jurisdictional dispute management.

You will work in a cross‑border group that handles the full spectrum of competition matters — follow‑on and standalone claims, collective actions, cartel and behavioural investigations, and related regulatory work. The team regularly advises clients across regulated and commercial sectors on strategic litigation risk and defence.

The role offers hands‑on litigation exposure, opportunities to manage parts of contentious matters, and to mentor more junior fee‑earners while working with senior counsel on complex, multi‑jurisdictional cases.

1–5 years post‑qualification experience in competition/antitrust litigation (candidates with slightly less or more experience will be considered if competencies are met)
Practical experience of litigation in the High Court and/or Competition Appeal Tribunal; experience of collective actions in the CAT is particularly welcome
Strong academic record, analytical ability and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with senior lawyers and to supervise and develop junior team members
