Join a well-regarded international law firm’s Belfast team as a Junior Negotiator working on finance- and banking-related agreements. This is a client-facing, documentation-heavy role where you will negotiate counterparties' papers, progress approvals and handle execution of live arrangements.

The role is hybrid with an office-first culture (c.60:40 office:home). You will work closely with legal, credit, risk, operations and business stakeholders, keep negotiation records up to date, and contribute to accurate management information on client portals.

  • Degree (or higher) in a numerate/analytical discipline such as law, engineering, maths, science or economics
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication; highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Interest in financial services and global markets; ability to build trust quickly with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Proactive, self-starting attitude; comfortable with ambiguity and fast learning
  • Desirable: experience drafting or negotiating contracts, postgraduate legal training or a legal qualification, or exposure to sales/trading and financial regulation
