Midlevel associate role in a busy Labor & Employment team handling individual and class/employment litigation and counseling work. The team seeks an attorney who will manage matters, appear in court and depositions, and take a lead role on litigation and client-facing projects.

Work will include defending and prosecuting wage & hour and other employment matters, drafting dispositive and certification-related briefs, settlement agreements, and employment agreements, and advising clients on policies, handbooks, leaves, accommodations, hiring and termination issues. Experience on labor-related diligence for M&A transactions is a plus.

4–7 years of employment law experience (midlevel associate)
Strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing skills
Experience in employment litigation with court appearances and depositions; class action and wage & hour experience preferred
Experience drafting dispositive motions, motions to compel arbitration, discovery, oppositions to class certification, and long-form settlement agreements
Client counseling experience on employment compliance (policies, handbooks, leaves, discipline) and ability to manage matters and supervise junior attorneys
Federal clerkship and labor due diligence on M&A transactions preferred
Law degree and ability to provide a resume, transcript and writing sample upon request
