National labor & employment team seeks a motivated 2nd–3rd year associate to join its San Diego office. The role focuses on California wage-and-hour class actions, PAGA matters, and employment litigation (discrimination, retaliation, harassment), combined with day-to-day counseling for employers.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, legal research, and participating in trial preparation, settlement conferences, and client counseling. The position is team oriented and well suited to candidates with strong legal writing, litigation experience, and client-facing skills.

Applicants must have a JD from an ABA-accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of the California Bar. Interested candidates should be prepared to submit a resume, law school transcript, and writing sample. The expected salary range for this position is $240,000–$260,000.

2–3 years of associate experience in California employment litigation
Experience with wage & hour class actions and PAGA litigation; discrimination/retaliation/harassment matters
Strong legal writing and motion practice experience; discovery and trial-preparation experience preferred
JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active California Bar membership
Client counseling experience and ability to work collaboratively in a busy practice
