Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, seeks a 2nd to 5th year associate to join its Employment & Labor practice group. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated employment matters with a collaborative team across multiple California offices.

Handle all aspects of employment litigation, including case development, discovery, witness interviews and investigations, and brief writing.
Provide day-to-day employment counseling, advising clients on policies and practices, statutory and regulatory compliance, and employment and separation agreements.
Support the team in training and mentoring junior associates.

Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials, superior legal research and writing skills, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence. Current California bar admission is required.

2–5 years of broad employment law experience.
Experience in case development, legal research and writing, all phases of discovery, witness interviews or investigations, and brief writing.
Strong employment counseling skills, with expertise in policies, compliance, and agreements.
Exceptional communication skills, high motivation, and a strong work ethic.
Current California bar admission.
