A leading international law firm is seeking an employment and labor attorney with two to five years of broad, sophisticated experience to join its Employment & Labor practice group. The role is available across multiple California offices.

The position offers a varied mix of contentious and advisory work. On the litigation side, the attorney will handle case development, legal research and writing, all aspects of discovery, witness interviews and investigations, and brief writing. On the counseling side, the attorney will advise clients on employment policies and practices, statutory and regulatory compliance, and employment and separation agreements.

The firm is looking for someone with strong academic credentials, exceptional communication and legal writing skills, a high degree of motivation and initiative, and a strong work ethic. The attorney will also help train and mentor junior associates.

Two to five years of broad employment law experience
Experience in case development, legal research and writing, discovery, witness interviews and investigations, and brief writing
Strong employment counseling skills, including policy and practice advising, compliance, and employment/separation agreements
Current California bar admission required
Strong academic credentials and exceptional communication and legal writing skills
High motivation, initiative, and a strong work ethic; willingness to train and mentor junior associates
