Our Employment & Labor practice group is seeking an associate with two to five years of broad experience in employment law. The role offers the opportunity to work across multiple California offices and to handle a sophisticated, varied caseload.

Ideal candidates will have experience in:

Case development and strategic planning
Legal research and writing, including brief writing
All aspects of discovery
Witness interviews and internal investigations
Employment counseling, including advising on policies, statutory and regulatory compliance, and employment and separation agreements

We seek candidates with strong academic credentials, excellent communication and drafting skills, a high level of motivation and initiative, a commitment to mentoring junior associates, and a strong work ethic. Current admission to the California bar is required.

2–5 years of broad employment law experience
Experience in case development, legal research and writing, discovery, witness interviews/investigations, and brief writing
Strong employment counseling skills, including policy advice, compliance, and agreements
Strong academic credentials and exceptional communication and writing skills
Motivation, initiative, and willingness to mentor junior associates
Active membership in the California bar
