We are seeking a midlevel to senior labor & employment associate with 4–7 years of experience to join a national Labor & Employment practice. The role is open to candidates in either the San Francisco or Los Angeles office and involves litigation, counseling, and wage & hour matters.

The successful candidate will work on single-plaintiff and class/collective actions, manage discovery and dispositive briefing, appear in court and take depositions, and assist with employment compliance counseling and M&A diligence. This role offers opportunities to lead matters and supervise junior associates within a collaborative firm culture.

  • 4–7 years of employment litigation experience, including courtroom and deposition experience
  • Strong academic credentials, excellent legal writing and analytical skills
  • Experience with wage & hour litigation, class/collective actions, and dispositive motions preferred
  • Experience drafting settlement agreements, separation agreements, arbitration agreements, and employment policies; experience with labor due diligence on M&A matters a plus
  • Ability to manage client relationships, lead matters, and supervise junior lawyers; federal clerkship or prior AmLaw firm experience preferred
