Labor & Employment Attorney — Grand Rapids

Seeking a Labor & Employment attorney to join a national, full-service law firm’s Grand Rapids office and respected labor & employment team. The role can focus on either traditional labor matters or employment litigation within a busy, collegial practice.

Ideal candidates will handle the full array of labor and/or employment litigation work and provide counseling on employment issues. The team is collaborative and supports professional development for attorneys advancing in the practice.

• Minimum ~5 years' post-qualification experience in employment litigation or traditional labor law
• Experience with single-plaintiff employment litigation, counseling, and/or traditional labor matters (arbitrations, contract administration, NLRB proceedings, union avoidance/defense)
• Preferred experience with wage & hour and employment class-action matters and employment counseling
• Strong writing, research and analytical skills; solid academic record
• Admission and good standing with the Michigan bar
