The role focuses on litigation and dispute resolution across discrimination, retaliation, wage-and-hour, non-compete and other employment-related claims.
Responsibilities include managing litigation files, representing clients in court, administrative agencies, mediations and arbitrations, counseling and training employer clients, and supporting class/collective and individual matters. The team offers substantive mentoring and exposure to a broad client base.
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- 2+ years post-qualification litigation experience; employment/labor experience strongly preferred
- Active Michigan bar admission in good standing
- Familiarity with state and federal agency procedures and employer-defense litigation
- Strong written and oral advocacy, time- and project-management skills, and attention to detail
