Growing Labor & Employment team at a national, full-service AmLaw firm is seeking an experienced employment attorney to join its Phoenix office. The role offers exposure to a broad mix of employment litigation, counseling and training matters across multiple jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will handle discovery and initial pleadings, draft and argue motions, and take and defend depositions. This position involves regular client contact, interaction with governmental agencies and opposing counsel, and opportunities to assume a significant role within a sophisticated practice.

Admitted to practice in Arizona.
2–15 years of experience in employment law; prior employment litigation experience required (management-side experience preferred).
Comfortable drafting/responding to discovery and pleadings, briefing and arguing motions, and taking/defending depositions.
Strong legal writing, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment; self-starter who works well independently and in teams.
