Experienced labor & employment counsel opportunity in a busy San Francisco office of a national employment practice. The role focuses on defending employers in employment litigation and counseling clients on a range of workplace issues.

Day-to-day responsibilities include legal research, drafting memoranda, motions and pleadings, managing discovery and investigations, preparing position statements and dispositive motions, attending court conferences, and providing client counseling. The team emphasizes collaboration and professional development.

• Juris Doctor and active, good-standing California bar license.
• 8+ years of employment litigation/defense experience preferred.
• Proven analytical and strong written and oral communication skills.
• Outstanding academic credentials (e.g., top of class, law review or moot court participation) and strong organizational/interpersonal skills.
