Seeking a driven associate to join a national labor & employment transactional team that sits at the intersection of employment law and corporate deal work. This is a transactional/advisory role focused on employment issues that affect deal value, post-closing integration, and executive transitions rather than traditional litigation.

Work will include employment diligence on M&A and private equity transactions, drafting and negotiating executive employment and separation agreements, advising on restrictive covenants and executive mobility, and supporting sensitive post-transaction workforce integration. The role offers visible client-facing responsibility and the chance to build a practice blending transactional, strategic advisory, and crisis-management work.

  • J.D. and active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Approximately 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in labor & employment with strong transactional exposure
  • Experience on employment diligence for M&A or private equity transactions
  • Proven drafting and negotiation skills for executive employment, separation, and restrictive covenant agreements
  • Strong commercial judgment, discretion handling sensitive personnel matters, and ability to work closely with corporate deal teams and senior clients
