Apply in confidence →Seeking a driven associate (3–6 years' experience) to join a national labor & employment transactional practice that sits at the intersection of employment law and corporate deal work. The role focuses on employment issues that affect deal value, post-closing integration, and executive mobility rather than a traditional employment litigation docket.
You will work closely with corporate deal teams, private equity sponsors, and senior client leadership on employment diligence, negotiating executive employment and separation agreements, restrictive covenants, and sensitive post-transaction workforce matters. The team values strategic judgment, discretion, and the ability to work quickly on high‑stakes matters.
This position is open to candidates in multiple U.S. offices, including Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Chicago, or Dallas.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in employment-related transactional work (M&A, private equity, or corporate transactions)
- Experience with employment diligence, drafting/negotiating executive employment and separation agreements, and restrictive covenant arrangements
- Strong commercial judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with corporate deal teams
- Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and JD from an accredited law school
