Partner-level opening for an experienced restructuring and finance lawyer to join the Houston office of a leading international law firm. The role focuses on advising lenders, creditors, and other stakeholders on bankruptcy, restructuring, workouts and distressed-debt matters across domestic financing and insolvency matters.

The partner will lead engagements, manage teams, and work closely with transactional and litigation colleagues to deliver integrated solutions in complex restructurings and creditor-side mandates. The role offers a visible platform for business development and for expanding a portable practice in the region.

Proven partner-level experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors' rights or distressed-debt work.
Track record of leading teams and managing complex restructuring matters, including court-based proceedings and out-of-court workouts.
Established business development experience and an ability to bring or grow a portable practice.
Strong drafting, negotiation and client-management skills; admitted to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction.
