Lateral Partner — Bankruptcy & Restructuring, Toronto

Senior partner hire to join and help grow a well-established lender-side high-yield and distressed-debt practice, while also expanding debtor-side bankruptcy and restructuring capabilities. The role sits in the firm's Toronto office and will focus on market-facing leadership and origination.

The successful candidate will work across complex restructuring mandates, collaborate with cross-border teams, and play a visible business-development role in a busy, growing practice group. This is a partner-level opportunity for someone with an established, portable restructuring practice.

• Established partner-level restructuring practice with demonstrable experience in high-yield/distressed debt and insolvency matters.
• Experience on both lender-side distressed debt and debtor-side bankruptcy/restructuring matters preferred.
• Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships and a portable practice suitable for partner transition.
• Ability to work with cross-border teams and senior deal counsel in a fast-paced practice environment; eligible or able to be admitted to practise in the relevant Canadian jurisdiction.
