Established national law firm seeks an experienced partner to lead and grow its environmental compliance and regulatory practice in the Chicago office. The role focuses on advising clients on regulatory matters, enforcement defense, and transactional environmental issues across public- and private-sector matters.

Ideal candidates will have substantive experience with environmental regulatory frameworks and prior involvement with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)-style matters is desirable. Proven partner-level experience in environmental regulatory and compliance matters.
Practical familiarity with environmental permitting, enforcement defense, and transactional environmental due diligence; CEQA experience preferred.
Track record of client development and ability to grow a portable practice.
Experience managing teams and mentoring junior lawyers.
Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction(s).
