Senior partner-level opening for an experienced corporate lawyer to join a national law firm’s San Diego office. The role focuses on transactional corporate work, including M&A, capital markets and related corporate matters, with a strong emphasis on energy sector transactions (renewables and oil & gas).

The successful candidate will lead client matters, develop and grow a transactional practice in the region, and work across corporate and finance teams on project development and commercial transactions. A portable book of business or demonstrable origination and client development ability is welcome.

Established partner with significant transactional M&A and corporate experience
Proven track record on energy-sector matters, including renewables and oil & gas project/commercial work
Experience with capital markets or corporate finance transactions preferred
Demonstrable business development/origination capabilities and ability to manage client relationships
Licensed to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or able to qualify promptly
