Lateral Partner — Corporate & Energy, Washington, D.C.

Senior transactional partner opportunity with a national law firm’s Washington, D.C. office. The role sits in a cross-practice corporate team handling M&A, technology-related transactions, capital markets matters and energy project work (renewables and oil & gas).

The successful candidate will lead complex deals, advise on project development and commercial matters across the energy sector, and work on technology and capital markets transactions. This is a visible partner role with opportunity to grow a broad transactional book.

A portable practice and track record of client origination are welcomed.

• Proven partner-level experience in M&A and complex transactional matters.
• Substantive experience in energy projects (renewables and/or oil & gas) and related commercial work.
• Experience advising on technology transactions and/or capital markets matters.
• Demonstrable client origination/portable practice and ability to develop new business.
• Admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction or eligibility to obtain admission.
